Election Commission orders transfer of Hyderabad South Zone DCP

The EC on Tuesday directed Telangana's Chief Secretary to transfer Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Zone) of Hyderabad P Sai Chaitanya, instructing him to hand over duties to a subordinate and refrain from election-related tasks until the current general elections conclude. The EC requested a panel of three IPS officer names by the next day to fill the vacancy.
